The eLab

Welcome to the Embedded Laboratory

The Embedded Laboratory (eLab) is part of Electrical Engineering Institute at Federico II of Naples, and focuses on the definition of system-level multi-objective design methods, optimization methodologies and tools for high-performance embedded systems and Multi-Processor System-on-Chip (MPSoC) architectures. The main research lines within the eLab activities include, but are not restricted to, the following topics:

  1. System-Level Design Automation;
  2. Wireless sensor and ad-hoc networks;
  3. Embedded Networking;
  4. Digital Design using field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs);
  5. Physically Unclonable Functions (PUFs);
  6. Hardware Security;
  7. Embedded Platforms and Internet of Things;
  8. Embedded Multicore Processing;
  9. Embedded Real-Time Systems;
  10. Hypervisor on embedded systems;
  11. Precise GPS positioning in safety-critical systems;
  12. ...
