Mario Barbareschi got a Ph.D. in Computer and Automation Engineering at University of Naples Federico II in 2015, where he is currently work a post-doctoral fellow.

He is member of eLab research group at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.

His research activities include embedded system design, hardware security and trust. He has been working on the design of fast hardware accelerator for data classification, IPCore protection for the FPGA technology and secure mechanisms realized through Physically Unclonable Functions architectures.
